Guerlain Lingerie De Peau Shade # 3 Review

Oh hello! I was totally busy last week so I forgot to visit my blog. :( I'm going to review a foundation from Guerlain which is Lingerie De Peau (Invisible Skin-Fusion) Foundation, that's a really long name for a foundation. (aka Guerlian LDP) Haha! I got this foundation 2 weeks ago.. yeah I did hauled some new stuffs again. I'd been a loyal Revlon Colorstay user for 2 years now but I am looking for a sheer to medium foundation for everyday look so I decided to get this.

Guerlain - Lingerie De Peau Invisible Skin Fusion Foundation SPF 20
    What it is:
An invisible foundation that wears like a second skin.
    What it does:
This unbelievably silky formula creates a natural radiance that captures and reflects light to reveal the look of naturally perfect skin. Imperfections are erased and coverage lasts all day long.
Pretty Bottle! Guerlain Lingerie De Peau in Shade # 3
The huge luxurious bottle is an eye-candy and when I smelled it, I just have to buy it! It has very sweet floral smell! I can't really describe the smell but it smells sooo nice! :) For reference, I am NC20-25 for MAC and sometimes NC30.. what a weird skin! ahaha! Most of time I am NC25, some foundation tends to oxidize on me so I'm still searching for my HG liquid foundation. I'm not sure what do get so I tried a tiny portion of LDP on my jawline, shade#3 is a perfect match.

Left: Huge luxurious bottle of  Guerlain LDP and Right: Hand Swatches of Shade # 3 Beige Natural
The Good
  • It wears like second skin indeed
  • Very nice smell (unlike other foundation that smells like paint) :)
  • It has SPF 20
  • Very light on face, I don't feel like I'm wearing a foundation :D
  • No white cast - Looks pretty on Photos
  • Pretty Bottle!
The Bad
  • Huge Bottle - its heavy
  • It oxidize on me - I should have bought a lighter shade like Shade # 32 Ambre Clair (Asian exclusive shade from Guerlain) - I look really oily after 3 hours waaahh
  • Small pimples on my T-Zone area after a day of using this.. ugghh!
  • Not for very oily skin
  • Very few shade selection
  • Its expensive (3098 in Philippine peso)

  7. hi there, from the photo i thought it looked really nice on you.You look really healthy.I use guerlain lingerie and i tried it in 03 and waaaaaaay to dark for me inr winter and it did oxidise.I am now using the 02 which they say is more pink undertone, however when i apply this in the mirror in my bedroom in front of the window it looks so orange but outside it looks more beige?? i love the coverage of this but yes it does make you look like youv'e had a workout after a few hours, kind of glowy/shiny.I also tried it in 01 but that was too yellow? it does look very natural and is nice and sheer yet buildable but the colours are just silly. For such a high price tag you need to be 100% happy with it which im not but will continue to use untill i find something else.Im going to try make up forever hd and face and body soon, see what thats like? have you tried that one yet?
